Grandparents Day
Next Sunday, September 12th we will be honoring our Grandparents. The Lifeline Children’s Ministry will be doing a song and we will have refreshments following the service. Please invite your grandparents out for our special service. They won’t want to miss it!



Ladies!!
If you have seen the movie “The Blind Side” you are invited to attend a ladies breakfast at the Waffle House in Watervliet starting September 4th for six weeks, to have discussion about the movie. You are responsible for your own breakfast.  The next breakfast will be September 18th at 8:00 AM. Please come out and join us if you are able.



The Journey to Freedom

After you are born again, it is time to begin “The Journey” that will cause you to change your life forever. The Journey is a series of classes for anyone who has just come to Christ or the person looking to re-focus their life on Christ.
Classes begin September 26th at 9:00AM at the Jonas House. There will be a charge of $8.00. Please mark the back of your Communication Card if you would like to attend.



Sharing Hope in Crisis Seminar

Do you know what to say when someone is hurting? What should you not say? What should you do? Equip yourself now to give the most effective spiritual and emotional care when it’s needed. The Billy Graham Rapid Response team invites you to a one day seminar that will prepare you to respond helpfully and appropriately to hurting people, bringing the love and hope of Jesus Christ to those who feel that hope is lost.

Time: Registration at 8:00/Seminar at 8:30 - 4:15

Prayer at the Church
We will be having teaching and prayer at the church Monday evening from 6-8 and Wednesday afternoon from 12-1.  Please attend if you are able.



the ROCK student ministry

Every Wednesday Night at 7:00 PM the student ministry come together for a time of worship, learning, fun and fellowship. If you are ages 13-25, come and join us!!
